I've learnt from my 2 friends , what is meant to be yours , one way or another , will be yours .
What is not meant to be yours , no matter how hard you try to fight for it , simply won't be yours .

Sometimes , i guess we will just have to accept it and move on .
This applies to friendships , relationships and even materialistic items .
It's hard . Very hard .
Sometimes close to impossible .

I've learnt a lot these 2 years . Falling in love , falling out of love , letting go , forming friendships , repairing friendships and ending friendships .
& and hardest of all , moving on .

Letting go doesn't mean giving up , it means moving on. It is one of the hardest things a person can do . Starting at birth , we grasp on to anything we can get our hands on, and hold on as if we will cease to exist when we let go . We feel that letting go is giving up and quitting , and that as we all know is cowardly. But as we grow older we are forced to change our way of thinking . We are forced to realize that letting go means accepting that some things are not meant to be and starting over . We also learn that there is an important difference between giving up and letting go . It means maturing and moving on , no matter how hard you have to fight yourself to do so .

You don't need strength to let go of something . What you really need is understanding , and time . A lot of time . Loving someone is setting them free , letting them go . We must be willing to let go of the life that we've planned , so as to accept the life that is waiting for us .

Letting go is something one has to learn . Holding on comes easily , effortlessly . We do not need to learn it . Although , sometimes , holding on is what makes you stronger .
